This study examines the potential demand and increasing need for hydrogen pipelines in response to carbon neutrality and the advancement of the hydrogen economy...
High Temperature Water Gas Shift Reaction Using the Fe/Cr Catalyst Pellet
CHANGJUN LEE, JINBAE KIM, CHOELHWI RYU, GABJIN HWANG
Fe/Cr catalyst pellet was prepared for the high temperature water gas shift reaction (HTWGSR) to produce H gas from the gasified gases of waste plastics. The Fe...
Thermodynamic Approach to Optimal Water Management for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles
KYUHYUNG PARK, JUNGROK OH, SUNGJEA PARK, JAEHOON JOO, KWONWOO YANG, JUNBEOM PARK, SUKKEE UM
A systematic, multicomponent model has been developed to investigate optimal water management for fuel cell electric vehicles. Water management strategies focus...
HAESEONG HWANG, HYUNSEOP LEE, SEUNGHO HAN
The boiling point of liquid hydrogen is extremely low at 20 K, making it prone to generate boil-off gas (BOG). BOG can lead to a rise in pressure and a potentia...
JIEUN LEE, JUNGMIN CHOI, HYEMIN JUNG, JU-HUN KIM, INSOO CHOI
Pt/RuO-based bifunctional oxygen electrode catalysts with high activity and excellent durability is developed for proton exchange membrane-based unitized regene...
SEUNGHYEON LEE, SEONGKYUN IM, YOUNGJAE LEE
Hydrogen is one of the most promising energy sources that reduce carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel-based energy systems. In this study, numerical simula...
Numerical Study of Forced Ventilation Effects on Hydrogen Leaks in Semi-closed Space
SEONHEE LEE, SEHYEON OH, JAEWON MOON, BYUNGCHOL MA
Hydrogen is highly dangerous during a leak due to its low ignition energy and wide flammability range. While KGS standards regulate hydrogen charging stations, ...
MIHWA LEE, DONGGEUN YOO, KWONPIL PARK
As Europe regulates perfluoroalkyl substances, efforts are underway to replace fluorinated polymer electrolyte membrane water electrolysis (PEMWE) membranes wit...
JAESUNG KWON, JEONGHYEON YANG, BEOMSOO KIM
This study investigated diesel/1-butanol blended fuels' combustion performance and emissions using a naturally aspirated single-cylinder diesel engine at varyin...
